There are a few steps that you need to follow in order to use the stretch command in AutoCAD. We can also stretch it by specifying the displacement value according to the requirements. The stretch command can be used for many purposes, but it is most commonly used for making copy paste operations easier and more efficient. We have specified the second point, as shown below: Specify second point or the displacement value.Here, we have selected a portion, as shown below: Select Stretch icon from the ribbon panel.The object will now look like the below image: Let us specify the displacement value = 6, 7. The base point was the original base point of the object and the second point is the stretched base point of that object. If we specify the second point, as shown below: Here, we have specified the base point, as shown below: ![]() We can also specify the displacement value in coordinates (X, Y, Z format).
